A lie of omission is still a lie.
I think the biggest lie I have ever told was not immediately telling Arthur and Lancelot that Merlin was my father.
I knew their distrust of Merlin and I was afraid that their opinions of him would become their opinions of me. That thought ate at me and caused me to hold myself apart from everything and everyone.
As for the consequences of that lie, I'm still not sure.
