loved_by_twoI suppose I am expected to write about what a big influence my mother or my father had on my life and how I hope that they are the proud of the woman I have become?
Unfortunately for people of that expectation, while my father was a wonderful man who did a very good job raising me, it is not Merlin that had the most influence over me and my life.
Arthur Pendragon has had the most influence on me and the person I have become.
From the time I was very young, my father would regale me with stories about Arthur and his band of heroic knights. They were fantastical tales of people and deeds that I often had trouble believing completely.
I never believed everything he told me, but believing in a man that did so many wondrous things did help the days and knights to pass a little less painfully.
Then, while I was a prisoner of Marcus and those hellspawn priests, it was those stories of Arthur and his men that helped me to stay alive and helped to give me hope.
Now, Arthur and Lancelot continue to be a large influence on me and my life. How could they not be? I love them and they love me. We have all shed blood for this land and these people while standing side by side.
I feel that the Knights of The Round will continue to influence people for a very long time.
